5/24/14 - Deer Island Flats
The reports were hot all week for Flounder. It was a fairly calm day, So we ended up taking Vinny's boat out there. Seaworms is the bait of choice. Using a Flounder Rig, with a 3oz weight on a freshwater heavy baitcast set-up. We just kept setting up drifts all day. Vin ended up with 3 keepers. I had 1 short, and 3 keepers also. My biggest on the scale was 1lb 5oz. Most of the catches came in the 16-19ft range. All but one were in that 1lb-1-1/4lb range. Fun Day!
