8/30/14 - East Brimfield Reservoir
1st time giving this place a go. I have 2 tournament there next month so I wanted to give it a look. Water clarity is better on the north side of Route 20, but I don't know if that is a good thing or not. Everything lots good, but a lot of the shoreline wood/structure is in inched of water. The kid I fished with had probably 4 keepers, including a 3-1/4lber on a frog. I caught 4 bass (Two 12 inchers, and 2 shorts), a Calico, and I had a good sized Pike (I think) swiped my swim jig right off the end of my line in one swoop...bastard. Not impressed so far, but I will give it another look in a month.
