Plymouth, MA Fishing Report

Plymouth 7/23/13

On advice of counsel, I'll leave the exact location as undisclosed. It is a great spot and my son and I had a fun day, even though he came up empty. He had both a LMB and SMB throw hooks as he tried to swing them over the side. Next time we will be netting. I caught a new personal best 3.75 LB LMB and a tiny SMB. We also hooked some monster smallmouths that threw their hooks with spectacular leaps. I may need to add trailer hooks on my inline spinners.

Comments

  • Great to see father and son enjoying each others company. With an inline spinner I would not use a trailer hook, it would not run true. You may want to use a larger treble hook, most inline spinners are made for trout and the trebles hooks are smalle than bass lures.
