Hobomock Pond With The Fam

Small pond in Pembroke that has a private side that I have access too. Brought my son (12) and daughter (2 1/2). A buddy and his daughter (7) came as well. Picked up some shiners to keep the kids interested since there's always something biting at those here. Me, my buddy and my son all caught multiple bass and a few decent size yellow perch. Bass all between 1-2 lbs but I know there has to be a few big ones in there. My buddy and I used lures as well (spinner and crank bait worked best.) Even my daughter was catching sunfish on her Barbie pole. On top of fishing, you can swim around the bath-like water during this blistering heat. All in all a good, successful day.... There's a spot on route 36 next to Olivero's restaurant that is a public access spot if anyone is looking to check it out. I believe there's no boats allowed but I have seen a canoe or two in there. Plenty of bites from the shore though
